Short-Haul Dark Fiber

ResurgenceIG’s Short Haul Dark Fiber routes are designed to be accessed every 3,000 feet through handholes along the route to allow for adding or dropping off network services to a particular area.  Short haul fiber serves those customers that need fiber only in an intermediate area typically for local access to a ResurgenceIG colocation facility. Short haul dark fiber benefits local network operators by being optimized for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Our Unique Advantage

ResurgenceIG offers an approximately 50-mile network from Equinix POP (“MI3”) in Boca Raton, FL at 4680 Conference Way South to the Equinix POP (“MI1”) in Miami, FL. This key route allows customers the ability to have diversity between two strategic locations in South Florida.

Redundant ring back to long haul network (Boca Raton, Florida)

ResurgenceIG backhaul service provides connectivity to three main cable landing stations through a redundant ring in Boca Raton sub ring.  ResurgenceIG provides dedicated bandwidth from the cable landing stations across our redundant ring, back to our Long-Haul Dark Fiber network.  Subsea networks gain access to terrestrial backhaul and open interconnection.
